Get speed and independence with Netviewer's G3 On-Premise Server
There are many reasons to choose an in-house Netviewer solution, including privacy requirements, a special need for speed, or simply the desire to integrate Netviewer into your IT infrastructure. The new Generation 3 On-Premise Server from Netviewer supports 64-bit Windows operating systems and (starting February 2010) Windows 7. The new Mac client and a Web client support additional operating systems.
Financial institutions and corporations that invest heavily in research and development are not the only companies with strict security requirements. For them, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) models are simply not acceptable. On-premise solutions are an alternative and Netviewer is already in the third-generation of this approach.
The new G3 Windows client supports the new 64-bit Windows operating systems. This gives it even higher performance than its predecessor. The many add-ins give you additional features, such as the ability to invite your contacts to Netviewer sessions directly from Windows Live Manager. The VoIP function has also been further improved and is now even more intuitive to use. International firms, in particular, can use it to reduce telephone charges.
What's more, the communication server is easy to integrate into an existing IT landscape, such as in other enterprise applications or rights management systems (Active Directories). Even having different operating systems or strict security standards is not a problem. Thanks to the Mac client, even Apple users can participate in Web meetings. Customers with strict security guidelines that prohibit executing the Netviewer program can use the Flash-based Web client to participate in Web meetings.
